Q: What is mob1serv?
A: Mob1serv (read as “mobiserve”) is a single solution service for your typical web service needs when you develop apps for iPhone / Android / Blackberry and other devices. So it is a handy solution for mobile developers / publishers allowing to use a ready solution when you need to add some typical server side functionality.
Q: What features does it provide?
A: Mob1serv consists of modules: HighScores, PushNotes, GeoLocation, OAuth Contracter, more to come. After you register your app with our service, you may start using any or all of the modules straight away. Each module provides all the necessary server side functionality for specific need, for example HighScores is a powerful online high scores / leaderboard solution which can be easily customized to match the needs of any game.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: It is a freemium model. All the services you subscribe for now will remain to be free and if we start charging something in the future, that will be for additional features not affecting the basic functionality. Our main aim at the moment is to provide a reliable, one-off server side solution for iPhone / Android developers because we are ones ourselves and we were tired of having to set up and maintain server scripts and databases for each new app.
Q: What about security and stability of my data?
A: The connections are protected by OAuth, one of the finest authentication/encription frameworks available nowadays. The system runs at our dedicated servers located in US. Currently it is in BETA stage so 100% uptime and safety of your data is not guaranteed by us but we will do everything to avoid any downtimes and to keep all data safe. There is a system of automated backups allowing us to restore your data withing few hours if something outstanding happens. Also you may export your data to XML at any time through your back end panel.

A: Register an account with our admin panel and add at least one application. Go to Quick install and follow the guide.
