Welcome to Mob1serv! It is a free suite of web services which help mobile developers and publishers to add great functionality to their applications. We provide typical server side solutions such as Online High Scores, storing your users’ Google Map Locations, sending Push Notifications and such. Check our FAQ to find out more.

Quick start (for iPhone developers)

1. Register your account at admin.mob1serv.com
2. Go to page of the module you wish to install (see main menu above) and download our library for that module.
3. Go to Quick install page and follow the instructions there.

High Scores

Our High Scores module allows to:

• record high scores and up to 5 additional custom parameters
• highlight users’ score
• transparently authenticate user by DEVICE ID – no log in required!

iPhone client implementation features:

• scrollable scores table
• switch between online / offline scores
• scores queue – syncs after internet connection is established
• country flags (detected by IP)

Web back end allows to:

• edit scores, view statistics, edit custom fields
• import / export scores via XML
• create HTML widgets to display scores at your website

Push Notifications

Our PushNote module allows to:

• send Push Notifications to your users
• you can use it for IM functionality: your users are able to send direct messages to each other!
• users receive messages even when app is not running!
• PNQueue feature – you may put delayed push notifications to be sent to specific user at specific date and time
• you can use it for Events Notification or Alarm functionality!

GeoPos

Our GeoPos module allows to:

• store positions of users and objects for your Google Map implementation
• objects may have custom fields such as attribute, status messages
• if it’s a user’s location, it has a record when he/she was last seen online
• you may build chat / PM interfaces for your users to send messages to other users nearby using the status message attribute of this module + push notifications functionality of PushNote module!
• you may store photos for user’s profiles using our Blobs module!
• you may classify map objects into categories and add custom controls to filter our markers of different categories at Google Map!
• Use case #1: football fans seeing each other on the map, sending messages agreeing to meet in the pub, chatting over the map etc
• Use case #2: company tracking the location of its trucks / agents, managing their cargos delivery
